With summer coming to an end, it won’t be long before the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays are upon us. In the meantime, you can expect the days to get shorter, the weather to get colder, and your to-do list to get longer. This is especially true if you have kids who are about to start back to school. While having your children out of the house for a few hours has its benefits, the upcoming months are sure to require more driving around, more sports activities to attend, and lots and lots of homework to help with.
In an effort to keep up with your hectic schedule, you may find yourself loading up on coffee, sleeping less, and consuming foods that contain more fat, sugar and calories than nutrition (or skipping meals altogether). After a couple of weeks of this same old routine, irritability and exhaustion set in. You lose your spark and you go to bed at night wondering where the day went and how you’ll ever find the energy to get through tomorrow.
If you let it, life will take hold of the wheel and steer you in every direction but where you want to go. When this happens, there’s only one thing you can do, and that’s to put yourself back in the driver’s seat and make the necessary changes you need to restore balance back to your life and your body.
While it’s easy to recognize when a change is needed in your life, turning thought into action can be extremely difficult. Especially when you don’t feel like doing the work. After all, you’re tired. You have no energy. So how can you expect to find the motivation? The answer is to give yourself an energy boost.
In addition to in-office visits and treatment plans, I also offer an online health program that can be followed from home. The program is called Vitality Catalyst, and it’s specially designed to give you the energy jump-start you need to get your body and your health back on track in as little as 30 days.
Enrollment for my upcoming Vitality Catalyst program is going on now. If you haven’t signed up already, you’ll want to register very soon, as the program begins on August 21, 2012. With the busiest time of year approaching fast, you don’t want to miss out on the opportunity to meet life head on with a body full of energy. As where there’s energy, there’s motivation, and where there’s motivation, there’s change—change that can lead to a better you.
